Thursday, May 28, 2020 Year-End Concert and Awards 6:30pm MV Gym
There will be a rehearsal for ALL 7/8 graders from 3:30-4:15pm this day in the gym-You are expected to be there.
This is usually a themed concert.....students may wear clothing appropriate to the concert theme.

We will also have an audition-only 6th grade group after Winter Break called Symphonic Winds. This group will meet at lunch and participate at our District Music Festival April 9-11, 2019
ATTENDANCE-PLEASE PUT CONCERT DATES ON HOME CALENDAR NOW!
Attendance at all concerts is mandatory and is a major part of a student’s grade. PLEASE speak with the directors, if you should have a conflict, at least one week prior to a performance. Often, we can work conflicts out if given enough notice. UNEXCUSED absences will be reflected on the band grade.
Some of our performances may be held at Westview. We will let you know of any changes as soon as we know. Other performances may be added as the year goes on. Thank you for your flexibility in advance.
CONCERT DRESS: 6th Grade-Look nice..."Sunday" best......no jeans, short skirts, t-shirts....think of it as a special event...because it is!!!! Dress appropriately.
7/8 Grade-ALL BLACK! 8th graders...just like last year! Band shirts will be available for a suggested donation of around $10.00. We suggest having black PANTS (7th grade), black shoes or sneakers, black socks..... It makes us look very professional. We receive many nice comments from people outside of our school.
